What Can Be Returned or Exchanged

You may return or exchange most items within 30 days of receiving your order, as long as they are:

  • Unworn and unused
  • In original packaging (including pouch, box, and care card)

Eligible items include:

  • Standard sterling silver pieces (necklaces, rings, bracelets)
  • Sale items under 20% off

We are unable to accept returns or exchanges on:

  • Customised or engraved jewellery
  • Earrings (due to hygiene)
  • Sale items with discounts of 20% or more
  • Gift cards or purchases made using store credit

How to Start a Return or Exchange

Please email us at support@yirujewellery.com within 30 days of delivery. Include:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you wish to return or exchange
  • The reason for return
  • Two clear photos (if the item is faulty)

We’ll respond within 3 business days with instructions. Once approved, you’ll need to ship the item back within 7 days.

Refunds

Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days after your return is received and approved.

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.

Exchanges

  • Free exchanges are available within the UK (within 30 days)
  • International exchanges are welcome — shipping is the customer’s responsibility
  • If your new item is higher in price, we’ll send a payment link
  • If it’s lower, we’ll issue the difference as store credit

180-Day Quality Guarantee

We stand behind the craftsmanship of every piece. If your item develops a manufacturing fault within 180 days, we will:

  • Replace it (if available), or
  • Offer store credit (if discontinued)

This covers:

  • Clasp or chain breakage not caused by misuse
  • Loose charm fittings

It does not cover:

  • Damage caused by wear, accidents, or improper care
  • Changes in appearance due to exposure to water, chemicals, or impact

Gifts

Received a YIRU gift and need something more aligned?

We offer exchanges or store credit. Please provide the order number or gift receipt.

  • Refunds are not available to the gift recipient.

International Returns

We accept eligible returns from outside the UK. Please note:

  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility (unless the item is faulty)
  • We are not liable for customs duties, VAT, or local taxes
  • We strongly recommend tracked shipping and insurance
